Pearls of Wisdom ~ Azhaikindran Arangan Episode June 25th 2012

Lord Ranganathan is not just only sarvasakthan, HE is not only just the inner soul of all jeevas, not just only sarvagnan, there is no one equal to Lord Ranganathan in HIS beauty. If we take all the beauty present in all worlds and create one that is composed of all these beauties, that is Lord Ranganathar. If we try to analyse what is the extent of the beauty of bhagavan, then we find that the bhagavan HIMSELF enjoys HIS own beauty.

In the Krishnaavatar, one Lord Sri Krishna visits the home of Sri Radha Devi. There are steps leading to the home of Radha devi. Then the steps turn to the right. There is a very big mirror hanging on the wall there. Since the mirror does not have a frame and is fixed into the wall, we cannot identify it separately as a mirror. Bhagavan Krishnan as he climbs the stairs and HE sees his image on the mirror. Bhagavan is bhuvanasundaran and looking at HIMSELF says someone new has come to this house and being so beautiful. Who this might be? In a second the bhagavan did not realize HE is looking at his own image. HE looks at the beauty thinking its someone else and wonders if one could be so beautiful. Immediately HE calls to Radhe and asks, 'Radhe! who is this beautiful person'. Radha says 'Krishna! its is only you. This is a mirror and in this mirror you are only seeing your own image'. Bhagavan thinks to himself, Ám I so beautiful? Radhe, am I so beautiful?'. Such is the beauty of the bhagavan that HE himself enjoys this beauty. Thats is why looking at the great beauty and sAnidhyam of Lord Ranganathar once someone thought that by means of mantram he could take the Lord away with him. Kuranarayana Jeeyar stopped this.

Are there mantras and with these mantras can one do things like this is a question everyone would have. Are there mantras that can destroy others is a suspicion some may have. Will the bhagavan produce such a mantra is also a question one would have too. But when we see the nature around us, we see a beautiful mogra flower, very soft and tender and with a beautiful smell, the petals of a rose flower are so beautiful. But the same bhagavan who produced the mogra, jasmine and rose flower also produced the cactus flower which has thorns. Like that we see beautiful creatures such as the rabbit, parrot or squirrel which dont harm anyone. We see the snake which has the poison in its teeth. The sting of the scorpion is also present in the nature, even though the scorpion was also created by the bhagavan. In this world when there is a good, we see there is also a bad present. Likewise when there is happiness, there is also sadness. When there is cold, there is hot. When there is darkness there is also light. What is not dual in this world but entirely single is only the lotus feet of the bhagavan, moksham or mukthi. Same way some mantras can do good while others may do bad. We see in many places where three roads meet there is a small idol of ganesha installed there. Also in the compound of a house they keep an idol of Ganesha. Reason being for these bad mantras there is a separate set of books, procedures and in that they mention that one must do Japa at the position where three roads meet. In these bad mantras we see such a procedure often. Thats why they install a Ganesha at that place to dissuade anyone invoking these bad mantras there. Thats why even today we see these idols of Pillayar so that the neighbourhood is not disturbed. These bad mantras can make one not be able to talk, not be able to get up, to get diseases, can make one mad likewise there are many such mantras. There are procedures in the bad mantra grantham that dictate their invocations. Either in the temples or in the swami sannidhi at our homes, if we light the deepam with the cows ghee there will be subhiksham. How is this possible? Like that in our homes if we do sudarshana homam, purusha sooktha homam, sree suktha homam with pure cows ghee there will be great benefit. For a human there are certain traits that come with birth. The first thing is hunger as a small child lips looks for mothers milk due to this. Similarly thirst is another thing that one needs. Likewise sleep and desire. These 4 traits automatically come with birth. These 4 traits flow into future generations. One is hunger, another is thirst, third is sleep and the fourth is desire. So one can win over anything except these 4 traits. Desire over job, fame or position and things is acquired and taken over time by man himself. Similarly when someone is born, in birth itself he gains vasanas that were obtained from previous life.

He also gets jealousy, possessiveness, attention seeking from these vasanas. Even when he comes to a temple, he expects a separate respect for him if not he does not come to the temple at all. Getting angry he leaves the temple. Wherever he needs attention and respect always. More than living well by themselves, there is a jealousy that others are living better. When we consider neighbours, relatives, friends this jealousy becomes more. He is living, he is living well, everything happens for him, just stopping with this thought would be better but the next step goes on to damage him as well. So he resorts to talk wrongly about him, spread rumours of bad about him. Write an anonymous letter to spoil his name. As we keep saying like this we only get fear.

Once one gets to know that there has been a mantram used in a bad way they will go to an astrologer, ask the question and find out the way to get out of this. Then the astrologer will say to do a certain amount of sudarshana homam, mantra japam, do abhishekam to chakrathazhwar and circumambulate. When one starts to do these homams, the one who has setup these bad mantras against him, he always is watching, he gets to know that he is performing these sudarshana homam and the bad mantras will no longer work. More than one who is more liked by us, its only the enemies of us who will always we watching. Only the enemies will have their full concentration on us. They will then go to the mantravadi who initially initiated this process and fight with him and demand that having given so much money and now the mantras are not working and all our efforts are going waste. Then the mantravadi will advise that wherever they are performing the good homas, sudarshana homa and all that to go there and put the ghee of pig into the sacrificial fire. What this will do is that the smell from the ghee of the pig will drive away the sattvic devatas away. The devatas will not like the smell of pig ghee. The sannidhyam will disappear. Therefore one type of ghee can drive away the devatas, another type of ghee can welcome the Gods. Thats the reason for explaining all the above.

We need to buy fresh cows milk, and from that make curd and out of that make ghee. With this ghee if we light a lamp, then the devatas will come to the place automatically due to the sugantham. There is no need to perform homas or chant mantras, why because the smell from the cows ghee and that is very much liked by the devatas.

When performing sthreesuktha homa, purushasuktha homa, sudarshana homa and if the ghee used for the homa should be fresh and clean cows ghee or if we manufacture cows ghee in the correct manner then we will get 100 percent benefit from the homa performed. Because the sannidhyam of the devatas will be present in that place and the devatas will be happy.

In our home in the sannidhi of the Lord Perumal, even if we light one single lamp with cows ghee that is enough. The sannidhyam of the devatas will always be in this home. Similarly when we perform these homas we should not use various different types of ghee or products, rather we should use cows ghee. Even if we go to a temple and in the sannidhi of the lord, we were to light a lamp we should do so with cows ghee only. When we do so all the bad sakthis will be driven away and wont come into the home, just as the devatas dearly like the cows ghee, so the durdevatas or bad sakthis will not like the cows ghee and we will be protected.
Radhe Radhe!
